New Deal/WPA Art in Chillicothe, Illinois
This Post Office mural was funded by the Section of Fine Arts under the Treasury Department and not the WPA.
The lobby of the post office in Chillicothe, Illinois at 114 N. Second Street has on display an egg tempera on gesso mural by Arthur Lidov entitled "Railroading". It was done in 1942 and is still extant.
