New Deal/WPA Art in Maumee, Ohio

According to government records, the Post Office in Maumee, Ohio has an oil on canvas mural by Rudolph Scheffler entitled "Communication".


It was installed in 1938. There is a
mural currently on view in the lobby.

However, the subject of the mural
in the Maumee USPO
doesn't seem to match the title
of "Communication" !
