Timberline, Mount Hood, Oregon New Deal Art



Timberline Lodge was built by the Works Progress Administration in 1936 and 1937. President Franklin Delano Roosevelt dedicated the lodge in September 1937. Artists and craftsmen working under the Federal Art Project created art works and furnishing for the lodge. Most of the original furnishings and art works remain intact.
