National Zoo - "At the National Zoo, Washington, DC, there are two lovely aluminum castings, by Domenico Mortellito, identified there as having been sponsored by the WPA, and which are located in the Small Mammal House. They illustrate two scenes from "The Pied Piper of Hamelin" by Robert Browning. The first of the two illustrates the Pied Piper leading the rats out of the town; the second shows him leading the children out of the town." information contributed by Jack Manischewitz.
