In 1938 an oil on canvas mural was installed in the Miller School (now known as the Chiaravalle Montessori School). It was created by an unknown artist. The title of the piece was "Early History of Evanston". The size was 15'7" x 5'6". Unfortunately this mural is missing and has not been located even during an extensive search of the 425 Dempster property. Anyone who knows where this mural might be located is requested to contact the Evanston WPA Art Project.
